Hello!
Its been a long time since I have added any new posts. The main reason I think is my boss must have read the previous posts, so he bombarded me with lots and lots of work!
Anyways, I was thinking (again while working) why I am working?? (not just this job but any job)
Is it for
a) Joy of working: No way!!!
b) Satisfaction: I do get pretty good satisfaction in doing the work right, but no way, its the reason of working.
c) Colleagues: They are cool and helpful, but you can get friends everywhere...
d) Boredom: It is one nice reason. But the issue is that when ones starts working, one really yearns for a holiday and do nothing...
e) Money: Yeah baby!!!!!!!!!!! I have thought and thought about it. Money is the only thing which makes my world go around these days. And also of all the people I meet.
Anyways I am sleepy now, so i guess this will be it for today...

btw .. yes I agree .. money is the driving force but there are also few other things :
1] babes ... or i should say pseudo babes [because they are never in your batch ]
2] learning/experience : u can also add pseudo to it
3] most imp is HOPE [ u can add false b4 it :)] .. hope of promotion, raise etc etc
.. check out boss i quit on ma page .. I have learnt that every job sucks so its always better to earn good and be a wealthy sucker .. right ?

@ bobbie: if you mix pleasure with profession, you are bound to get no where.. so if babes arent in your batch.. be happy about it!! dont want mediocre controvercies coming up.. do you???
@ sam and boobie: well.. from a workaholic's perspective, its your life fuel!! you cant do without working.. and btw.. woking good gets you good money.. well.. you can expect pseudo babes hunting for you because you have money.. (it'd be impressive if you dont like such babes.. but..) and lastly you can treat your selves with luxurious breaks when you have money!!! :-) what say???
I wrote psuedo babes just to maintain interest ... probably I know it would offend all girls :)..
my point is practically what i have seen .. salary is not the only thing that keeps u at your work ... most of the time its an expectation/hope that you see coming in the future towards you .. though it can be in the form of hike but it is never more that what u get if u switch !
@snigdha : don worry some1 in US doesnt really need to go to work to watch babes , its NY they are all around :)
@ boobie: salary or money is always a by-product.. so if you anticipate or wish a hike in your package, be prepared to sow its seeds!!! as for the US thing.. i give a damn about it.. coz i think its effects should suffice till he is back!! and secondly.. am not a pseudo.. and no where close to babes!!! so there is no question of offence towards me here!!! :-P

@Snigdha : Yes i was kinda busy as i had been to offshore...but here i agree with pavan....HOPE is the most important thing (except pseudo babes)
